    Our drop-off point is located within the port grounds, in a designated area where our team will meet you as you disembark, whether you’re arriving on a cruise ship or mooring your own private boat. To book this service, simply select ‘Port of Motril’ in the location search on our website.

    Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive an email with precise instructions regarding the meeting point. We recommend that you check this email in advance, as Motril Port is quite large and can be a little confusing when you disembark.
    For one-day hire, this service includes a charge of €5 for collection and €5 for return (€10 in total). For multi-day hire, collection and return are included in the price.

    What you need to collect your car

    At BayGo, we like to make sure that collection is quick and hassle-free, especially if you’re arriving with limited time after a cruise stopover or a sea crossing. That’s why it’s a good idea to have your documents ready in advance, so that everything is sorted within minutes of you disembarking.

    The essential documents you need to bring are the main driver’s ID card or passport and their physical driving licence, provided they have at least one year’s driving experience. If you’re coming from outside the European Union, we recommend checking whether your country also requires an international driving permit. Don’t forget your booking reference number, which you’ll receive by email once your booking is confirmed.

    We will require a credit card as a security deposit. It does not have to be in the main driver’s name, but the cardholder must be present at the time of collection. If you do not have a credit card and only have a debit card, we will process the security deposit as a €350 cash deposit, which will be refunded when you return the car. To drive with BayGo, you simply need to be at least 21 years old.

    How do I collect my car when I disembark at the Port of Motril?

    When you disembark from the cruise ship, look for the free bus that connects the port with the centre of Motril and get off at the first stop: that’s where our handover point is located. Simply head into the car park and our team will be there waiting to hand over the car to you.
    You’ll receive all these instructions, along with any further details, in your booking confirmation email. We recommend checking it in advance so you’re clear on the route before disembarking.

    Are there any additional charges for delivery and return at the Port of Motril?

    For one-day rentals only. In this case, we charge €5 for delivery and €5 for return (€10 in total), which covers the cost of transporting the equipment to the port outside of office hours. For rentals of more than one day, delivery and return at the Port of Motril are included in the price, at no extra cost.
