Enjoy your hire car in Torremolinos

Torremolinos is one of the Costa del Sol’s all-time favourites, and having your own car is what allows you to experience it your way: start the day at Bajondillo Beach, enjoy a skewered fish in La Carihuela, and round off the afternoon in Pueblo Blanco or by heading up to Mijas Pueblo. Without having to rely on bus timetables or plan everything down to the last detail.

To get around the area, a compact car is the most practical option: easy to park during the high season and economical, and also available as an automatic or convertible if you fancy adding a bit of extra flair to your trip. If there are several of you travelling or you’re bringing plenty of luggage, an estate car or a 7- to 9-seater people carrier is better suited to your plans. And if you want to use Torremolinos as a base for day trips to Ronda, Marbella or Malaga city, any of these models will get you there with ease.

Your booking includes all the essentials as standard: comprehensive cover with no excess, unlimited mileage and 24-hour breakdown assistance anywhere in Andalusia. The rate you confirm online is the price you pay when you collect the car, with no last-minute charges.

We’ll deliver your car to your accommodation

We’ll arrive at your hotel or campsite with the car ready at the time you specify, Monday to Saturday between 9 am and 3 pm. We’ll hand over the keys and the contract at reception, so there’s no queuing at the counter and you won’t waste any of your holiday time. When your trip is over, simply park the car near your accommodation, leave the key at reception, and that’s it. Our team will take care of the rest.

Drop-off and collection in Torremolinos each have a fixed fee of €20, so you know exactly what you’ll be paying right from the start. And if your plans include ending your trip at Málaga Airport, there’s no extra charge for doing so: you can leave the car at our airport office with no return fee.

Hotels and campsites we serve in Torremolinos

Torremolinos feels very different in Bajondillo compared to La Carihuela or Playamar. Each area has its own character, pace and accommodation options. We provide services at hotels and campsites throughout the city. Here are a few examples to give you an idea:

Right in the heart of Bajondillo, we deliver to classic hotels such as the Meliá Costa del Sol, with its rooftop pools and views across the bay. In La Carihuela, the old fishing district turned gastronomic hotspot, we’ll arrange your stay at boutique hotels such as the Hotel Tarik, just a stone’s throw from the beach and serving one of the best-rated breakfasts in the area. If you’re looking for something a bit more spacious for a family stay, in Playamar we’ll book you into the MS Amaragua, right next to the seafront promenade and with gardens opening out to the sea. And if you’d rather sleep amongst the pine trees, we also offer the Torremolinos Campsite, the only one in the city, a fifteen-minute walk from the beach.

Here are just a few examples: we provide a service to hotels and campsites across the city. Just let us know where you’re staying when you make your booking, and we’ll bring the car straight to the entrance, ready for you to start your holiday without any further delay.

    Day trips from Torremolinos

Just a few minutes from the coast, a different side of Andalusia awaits you. Whitewashed villages, historic towns, hidden gems not found in guidebooks, and landscapes quite unlike anything you might have expected.

In twenty minutes you’ll be in Mijas Pueblo, with its whitewashed streets and viewpoints overlooking the whole bay. In half an hour you’ll reach Marbella, the perfect place to stroll through the old town and round off the day in Puerto Banús. And just fifteen minutes away is the city of Málaga, which many people miss out on because they stick to the coast.

And if you fancy getting off the beaten track, in an hour you can be at El Torcal de Antequera, one of the most spectacular karst landscapes in Andalusia. Its signposted trails are easy, the views are unlike anything you’ve seen on the coast and, with a bit of luck, you might even spot a mountain goat.
