Cargo vans for getting around the Bay Area
Whether you’re rearranging the furniture in a beachfront apartment, transporting diving gear to the marina, or handling a move up the hills of Punta de la Mona, these are jobs in La Herradura that are much easier with the right vehicle. With a BayGo cargo van, you can tackle these tasks at your own pace, without having to rely on outside delivery services.
There are five sizes to choose from: the more compact ones handle well around the city and on the climb to Marina del Este, while the larger ones can carry an entire move in one go. All of them can be driven with a standard driver’s license—no special permits required—so just choose based on what you’re carrying and hit the road.
Each rental includes 400 km per day, 24-hour assistance, and a fixed rate. The amount you confirm when booking is the amount you pay when you pick up the van—with no hidden costs or last-minute charges.
What Our Customers Say
Where to Find Us
Pick up the van at our office in La Herradura, on Avenida Prieto Moreno, just before the boardwalk and facing the bay. It’s a central location that’s easy to find, whether you’re arriving by car on the N-340 or walking from your accommodations.
Pickup and drop-off always take place at the office during business hours, so we can inspect the van with you and hand you the keys right away. From here, you can quickly access the N-340 and the highway, so in just a few minutes you’ll be on your way to your job site.

What You Need and What’s Included in Your Rental
On the day of pickup, all you need to bring is the main driver’s ID card or passport and driver’s license, which must have been issued at least one year ago. If you’re coming from outside the European Union, check beforehand to see if your country also requires an international driver’s permit. Have your reservation reference number handy; you’ll receive it by email once your reservation is confirmed.
As a security deposit, we retain a €350 security deposit, which is refunded when the van is returned in good condition. We typically process this via credit card; for debit cards, we require full coverage. The minimum age is 21, with no age surcharges or maximum age limit.
Each reservation includes 400 km per day (over the total rental period), 24-hour assistance year-round, and a second driver—which you can add when you book or when you stop by the office. And if your plans change, you can cancel at no cost up to 48 hours before pickup.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use my driver's license to drive the van?
Yes. The entire fleet can be driven with a Class B license—the same one you use for your passenger car—without any additional permits, provided you've held it for at least one year.
What should I bring on pickup day?
The main driver's ID card or passport and driver's license, plus a credit card for the security deposit. With those and your reservation confirmation, you'll sign the paperwork and be on your way in just a few minutes.
How much of the security deposit is withheld?
We will hold €350 as a security deposit for the duration of the rental; this amount will be released once the van is returned in good condition.
Is there a mileage limit?
You are allotted 400 km for each day of your rental, calculated based on the total rental period. Any distance beyond that will be billed at the current rate.
What time should I pick up the van in La Herradura?
The office is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pickup and return must take place during those hours; when you make your reservation, you can choose the day and time that work best for you.
Can I return the van to a different office?
Yes, it's a one-way service. You pick up the car in La Herradura and return it in Almuñécar, Nerja, Torrox, or Málaga. It's free for rentals of 7 days or more, and there's a flat fee of 30 € for rentals shorter than that.
